ShopFlare glossary
A plain-English reference for workspaces, widgets, crawls, indexing, knowledge sources, entitlements, AEO, and decision gaps.
Workspace, module, and widget
A workspace groups a business's data and configuration. A module is a product capability such as Chatbot or Commerce Intelligence. A widget is a customer-facing instance or embedded experience. An entitlement is the access granted by a package, trial, or authorised arrangement.
Crawl, index, and grounded answer
A crawl retrieves website content. An index makes collected knowledge retrievable. A grounded answer is supported by relevant source material rather than an unsupported guess. A canonical URL identifies the preferred address for a page. Neither a crawl nor an index is a guarantee that every source fact is correct.
AEO, decision gap, and coverage
AEO means answer engine optimisation. A decision gap is missing or unclear information that can prevent a shopper from choosing confidently. Coverage describes what an observation or scan actually examined. Always read a finding in the context of its source, market, and time.
Dashboard labels may currently be in German. Available controls and modules depend on your package and release. If a control described here is missing, check your workspace or contact support.
